National Mediation Accreditation Training

 

UWA's NMAS National Mediation Training Course

Unit Details

As the curriculum complies with the educational requirements of the National Mediator Accreditation System (NMAS), upon completion, participants are eligible for registration as a Nationally Accredited Mediator


The course includes core modules, a coaching workshop, and an accreditation role play
 

The course attracts legal CPD points and CPD hours for psychologists

Pre-requisites

  • The UWA NMAS Mediation Accreditation Course is for professionals who wish to add mediation to their skill-base. However, there are no formal requirements for admission

  • For participants wishing to subsequently undertake FDRP-related units, the AG's Department stipulates several requirements for this training

Online - 6-day version

Face-to-face - 6 day version (Perth) - Jan/Feb 2025

Face-to-Face - 1 night/week for 8 weeks (Perth) - Aug-Oct 2024

Face-to-face - 6 day version (Perth) - June 2025

Cost

  • $3,300 (inc gst) - Regular rate for NMAS-only participants (face-to-face courses)

  • Note: Course costs include fee to receive registration as a Nationally Accredited Mediator for two years with the Mediator Standards Board (MSB)
